I have a 2004 Hunter 260. I just noticed that at the point where the metal motor bracket mounts to the port side aft part ot the boat the fiberglass has cracked. When giving more throttle on the motor the crack widens. I assume that there must be some piece of metal behind the fiberglass for the motor mount bolts to go thru. Has any one had this happen and what do I do to fix it? The dealer has put a Merc 15 hp motor on the boat. I wouldn't think that that is to much torgue for the mount or is it. I not sure if someone hit the motor with an other boat in the marina. I know that I have not hit anything with the prop or run aground. Thanks Pyschosailor...
