Greetings from a 1996 26X new owner.
I am trying to familiarize myself with all the components and to make things right.
The tiller gudgeons seem to have been stepped on too often and are now digging into the gell coat at the corners.
They seem to be fabricated from 3/8" aluminum plate cut and formed with a two supporting gusset plates welded in.
My question is, can these plates be bent back to shape without danger of breaking? Thanks
O.K. took them off -- wedged them between the central box beam and angled channel of the trailer and stood on them to straighten.
