Our main halyard stuck on 'something' at the top of the mast. We have looked with binocs and can't see anything. We are assuming the pulley at the top is broken. We step the mast every year for storage, it worked in Oct 08. We just raised the mast in April 09 at putin. However...we did not check the halyard to see if it worked, our fault. So, we are also assuming we will have to take the mast down, look & fix and step the mast again. We step the mast every year using the club lift to store the boat so effort that is not the issue. Q1 - any opinions on what the cause might be?; Q2 - is it liekly the main halyard might be stuck inside the mast? Q3 - what kind of mast head fitting do we have if needs to be replaced?
