1.34 X (22.45)1/2=1.34 X 4.738=6.349 ktsDon't forget that these are theoretical numbers. For example, as a boat heels its LWL and wetted surface change. Also some boats plane more easily than others. All these and others are major factors in the ultimate speed of a hull.

below is theoretical for the "average" boat, whatever that is. The 1.34 constant may be raised up or down depending on a number of factors, like hull and keel design,displacement, etc. That, plus increasing your waterline when heeled, is the reason you have exceeded your theoretical hull speed.
...up to nearly 15kts, but that is surfing of big waves under spinnaker. Reaching off the face of a wave can easily get any boat past its theoretical hull speed.
