If it has a trailer...use it
Most of the water ballast 250's have a trailer... it can be used to do center board maintenance but may require doing a little jacking to raise the bow. I jacked the bow up from the trailer as well as released the forward bunk board bolts and jacked the forward section of bunk boards a couple inches to get the boat high enough to slide the center board out. The center board weighs about ninety pounds so is manageable.
