245 centerboard uphaul

My 245 has been great, but the centerboard uphaul is wearing and needs to be changed.
Can it be replaced by removing the pivot hardware when it is on the sling to launch?
Anyone know of quide/paperwork to this boat?

Using the existing worn pennant to feed a new pennant (take the time to sew them together end to end it may be over kill but may save you time verses fishing a new one from scratch) could be done with the board down hanging in slings I don't remember if the attachment point is accessible without removing the center board pivot bolt. Removing the pivot bolt for inspection/replacement is a good idea anyway. Sadly the only drawings of the 24/245 centerboard/keel I know of were lost in a fire at my house around 1995. The centerboard is the same section as the rudder though the length is different.
