Does any owner of a 240 out there know of a company that makes a made to fit cover for a 240. Short of shink wrapping or just tossing some tarps over and bungieing them to the trailer. It would be nice to have a fitting tarp.

But hey winter never really shows up down in Fla. Now Hurricanes we got, and tarps don't cut it so a steel barn houses the fleet. Custom canvas is a little overkill so my money would go to new tarps each year with a good tent setup. Good luck Michael

Small tarps
I was sure I needed a custom tarp, but I didn't know if I needed a tarp that was made for trailering the boat, a tarp that would work for mast up on the trailer, or a tarp for mast up in the water. The 20'x 30' cheap plastic works well for a dust cover in the barn, the off the shelf 20' x 20' canvas duct was too small and way too heavy. Furthermore, SWMBO did not like them. The solution that works for us - a small 4x6 tarp over the companion way {keeps the cabin dry without a custom cover or pop top}, a 5x10 tarp over the bimmini, and a 10x10 over the boom as a tent. I bought these at a local supplier as scrap that with the gromets in them cost me $10, $20, and $30 respectively. They are out of super high quality {10 year war.} car top material and are working great for us! Smooth Sailing Don

Thanks for the insight. Was leaning the direction of an off the shelf tarp, but wanted to see if others had alternatives that might be better. Of course saving a little $ and spending it on the deck hand might be advisable???? or maybe a new gadget toy.

There was a guy in Texas that had a custom cover made for his 23.5 that would probably be modified for your 240. I called the guy but can't find the number. Anyway it was a little pricey. Somewhere around $600 fi memory serves.
