I am considering purchasing a 240 or a 26/260. I've read a thread describing balsa core in a 235 hull below the water line. Do you know if the 240 or 260/26 have balsa core below the water line? I suspect they have a core in the transom but I'm most interested in the areas of the hull below the WL away from the transom. I've read the Hunter OEM Sales Brochures. They describe the 260 as having "100% hand laid fiberglass hull"; the 240 does not have this description. It would be a deal breaker to me if the boat had wood core below the WL. Thanks, Tony

The 23.5, 26, 240, and 260 are all made the Same Way

There is no balsa in any of them.

There isn't much difference between the 23.5 and the 240 or the 26 and the 260.
The major differences between the 23.5 or the 240 and the 26 or 260 other than two feet is an extra axle on the trailer and an enclosed head.
