I lowered the mast and put the boat on the trailer. Power washed it. Covered it. Put it in winter storage.N-O-W W-H-A-T D-O I D-0 T-I-L-L S-P-R-I-N-G-?
Joe,You need to move to Florida. We sail year-round here. The only problem, lately, is frequent hurricanes. But you know, they make for great stories.Enjoy your winter.Dave Laing
Ditto on the Florida response. I live in St. Pete area and keep it at the municiple marina. Guess we'll see ya when you turn 65 - 90+. (I got another 25 years before that!)
My wife and I are staring at our 240 ... sitting patiently in our backyard every day trying to make plans to drive south. The best part of a trailer sailor's life is the ability to FIND nice weather. We're hoping to drive to the Keys and plop our boat in the warm waters of southern Florida. There are many lakes between North Carolina and Louisiana that we can be floating in within a day.Let's just hope we do this!
