23' Tempest Head Stay

Hi,

I just bought an O'day Tempest for Buzzards Bay. I am planning on installing a roller furler for the jib. What is the diameter of the fore stay as this is need to determine the size oif the furler? And does anyone have a suggestions about a furler to install and how complicated is it?

I have just purchased this furler for my 1981 O'Day 23
It is beautifully made and comes with a new forestay, furling line and stanchon mounted line block.
It has stainless ball bearings top and bottom with alum extruded foil, it is a great value. It is slightly more than the cheapest furler out there, super quality made in Sweden. Smallest wire stay size is 5/32" (mine).
It would not matter if your original stay was smaller as you would end up with a 5/32".
