Hi I am new to sailing and have the opportunity to purchase what I am being told is a 23 foot ODay Tempest. This boat does not have a cabin. Was it ever provided this way by the manufacturer. All the pictures I have seen show a cabin. Thanks...
I think that what you are looking at is an O'Day built, International Tempest. This was a racing class and did not have a cabin, it is really no relation to the O'Day Tempest. I'll link a 1968 O'Day brochure below, it shows both the International Tempest and the O'Day Tempest.
