22 Swing Keel response

How does the swing keel respond in the ocean? Want something trailerable but I'm concerned about a knockdown. I'd be sailing to coastal islands in the Northeast part of the U.S.

i have a 25 with a 2'6 draft but wiht he cb down i draw 6' and she does very well with that configuartion

C-22 swingers

Pat; I had a C-22 with a swing keel for six years and sailed it in the Pacific Ocean with no problems.
