210cc 9.9hp Mercury long shaft maintenance

Does anyone have a list or known what maintenance needs to be performed on the above motor? It is a 1989 maintenance.

Pick up a service manual, its well worth the $15.00Run it in a clean trash can of fresh water until the engine is just warm, "fog' the engine. Change the lower unit oil/greaseClean up the exterior of the engine block & lube the linkage.Clean & regap the spark plugs. Spray some additional fogging oil in the cylinders.If your storing the engine outside in the cold, pull it through a couple of times to make sure all the water is out of the water pump.

You also want to be sure to long term store the motor over winter in an upright position.I found out the hard way and laid mine on its side(proper side even) then after two months found a note in the manual about long term upright storage...one cylinder filled with oil..got luck and was able to clean most out by removing the spark plugs and pulling the starter cord...
