Does anyone know who makes the air conditioner sea strainer for the 2016 Oceanis 45? I tore the gasket when I opened the strainer (it was stuck to the metal and tore as soon as I turned it.) The dealer says they can't get the gasket, only the whole strainer!

It's a Sherwood on our 2014 37. The plastic on part of ours was split and the dealer said the same thing about it only being replaceable as a unit. Ours was still under warranty at the time so not as big a deal.
I made a homemade gasket that worked perfectly. Get a small sheet of rubber gasket material (red/black color) available at the plumbing department at Home Depot. Using the clear plastic cover as a guide, draw a line on the material and cut with a scissor.
Thanks for the replies. The 2016s have a totally different stainer. It's all metal - no clear sections. I was able to find an o-ring at the hardware store that fit. The original gasket was flat, but the o-ring seems to work.
The gasket that came with the boat was totally dry rotted, that's why it fell apart. Odd for a new boat.

Mine is the same as yours. The sea cock and strainer may have sat on a shelf at the factory for years before it was installed.
