2014 Beneteau 411 Power Jib Winch Question

I want to convert my 2014 Beneteau 411 Jib Winches to power. Looks like vertical or horizonal motors will fit the space. Any preference on either?

Depends on how much head room you need under the location. Have used both with equal success.

Both spaces are confined to the deck seating storage compartment, so no head room considerations. I appreciate the knowledge that both perform well regardless of vertical or horizonal decision.
