2009 Annapolis Governors Cup Race

Been searching on the web and found nothing. Anyone know the dates yet of the race? It is usually the first weekend of August but August first is on Saturday this year. We are trying to plan for the race this year.

I was on the St Marys site and they don't have anything about it yet.. Was looking at their events calendar and it showed no activities for Aug 8 & 9 so I was hoping those were the dates...

I have searched the Eastport yacht club calendar and the Annapolis events calendar with no success.

Anyone looking for Extra Crew or to crew?

I doubt I would bring my boat around to enter, but if someone was looking for crew I would certainly be interested.

The Quantico Yacht Club is also having races on 9th (single short race) and our Master's of the Potomac (Quantico to Colonial Beach and back - 55 nmi) September 19th. There will also be the Leukemia Cup in Alexandria 12th of September.

Just trying to setup scheduled leave time. We usually have several boats from Cobb Island way come down on Friday and party until our heads hurt...

Great sight sitting in Horseshoe bay watching the boats come in...

Would love to race my boat but would require taking two weeks off to get the boat there and back home...
