Electrical Upgrade
1. Added 2 more Group 27 next to the stock...Hunter made me an identical box 2. Balmar 7 small case alternator 80 amp and 3 stage regulator ARS5 (if you go too high on the amp you might need bigger pulleys or dual pulley/belt) 3. Xantrax Battery monitoring system (you could upgrade to Link 2000) 4. Honda2000 generator for freshly ground/brewed coffee and hot showers on a cold morning...also help recharge batteries 5. Thought about solar, but since I am never out for more than a week, my Honda2000 does the job.

Battery Upgrade
I will be looking to add batteries also but with generator and batteries in that big port cockpit locker I have heard of other 356 and 36 owners complaining of port listing.

If you are going to add a generator....
you might consider placing your batteries on the starboard side under the dinning seat. You are correct about the listing to port. I compensated by placing an extra 20gal of water under the starboard side dinning seat, placing my kayak on starboard side, as well as my outboard motor. good luck, abe

Honda 200 Generator
Hey Abe: Do you run the A.C. with that Generator? I ran my 10K BTU AC on Marsaila with it but was doubting that it would be able to run with the 16K BTU of the H-36.

No way you can run that big AC with honda I am really surprised he runs the 10,000 on the honda. Broke sailor how much snow you get, we got 3" so far more snow or rain coming. I am thinking cross country skis or snow blow ???

Honda 2000 and snow
Hey Seadaddler. We got 4 inches here in Fredericksburg, Va. 2 hour school delay. I swear I can run my 10K BTU AC on Marsaila with the 2000 Honda.

OK I believe you but no way in the new 36 sorry I wish way cheaper with the honda. Are you buying from norton's. Maybe this is the last of winter I hope, I still have a long list of honey do's before boating season,when is the new boat coming did you go with inmast,was hunter still running the boat show specials.

Hey Seadaddler: Yes I am buying from Norton's. Delivery expected in May. I did not order at the Boat Show so I am not sure if I got the Show's rate or not. It's costing me $165K loaded no Gen though. In-mast main option though I would have liked to do like Al did on Persephone and gotten a normal main but just seemed too complex of a decision at the time.

My boat will carry pretty much the same list of options except for the inverter/radar and gen. Yes I am getting the 3 bladed prop. Can't wait!!
