2005 Hunter 41, TV mount

I wonder if the large bulk head between the pullman birth and salon is a safe place to mount a TV.. any insight please

Don't see why not. I have a lightweight articulating tv mount with a 32 inch flat screen secured to it mounted to the bulkhead between the main salon and forward berth.

@Nodak7 On the pictures with the blue tape, what do they represent? Are the long vertical blue tapes the location of the studs? What is the purpose of the square hole you cut? How did you locate the studs?

Yes the blue lines represent were the studs are located. The studs are glued. I used a locator and tapping on the wall to find the studs. Not hard to find them. The square hole is for the outlet and cable connection box. I used the existing Entertainment Inverter so I just ran the wires up from there. Pretty easy install.

Oh one other thing I just thought of. While I was at it I removed the old Bose system and replaced it with a DVD player. Got rid of the old amp it was a power hog.
