on the water right now and motoring home. went below and noticed that the house batteries are below 12 volts looking at the panel. perhaps they aren't charging? I recall seeing the voltage bounce up as charged. thoughts?

Had the same sort of problem while in the Bahamas winter before last- engine alternator was charging starting battery but not the house banks. At first I thought it must be related to the battery isolator, but it turned out to be a bad solenoid
