Bluewater Cruising Association (BCA) of Vancouver, Canada are holding their annual Rally Week starting with the combined skippers/crew meeting at the Dinghy Dock Pub (one of the few floating pubs in the world that rests on the ocean bed during very low tides)in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island at 7pm on July 23, 2005. Rally Week is a fun-filled week of cruising the Canadian Gulf Islands, evening barbecues on the beach, fun port-port races where participation is the main requirement and the winners are hard to find. You can bring your boat for part of the time. Normally 10-12 boats come. BCA is a club for offshore sailors and is at www.bluewatercruising.org All are welcome. On Friday July 29, 2005 we will sail to Montague Harbour to join up with the BCA August long weekend Rendezvous. The only entry fee is enthusiasm.
