When I referred to “power supply”, it was the “on board” power supply.No power supply issues yet. I am inclined to bite the bullet and go new. Thank you
Every system has one (or more) internal regulated supplies. They are normally identified by heat sinks covering regulators, etc. All modern electronics use what are called. “Switching supplies”, versus really old tech which were linear supplies.
With the switching supplies, a bad capacitor is a normal suspect.
Once again, a can of freezit can localize things quickly.
