2004 compared to 2005 mac26

can anyone tell me the major changes from a 2004 to 2005 mac 26. I am considering a new 2004 but dont want to give up any new features which may enhance the boat greatly.any help would be appreciated Fred

2005 26M VS 2004 26M

I have an "04 26M, and am pleased with it. The changes are black bullnose mouldings added to interior windows, seats raised so you can see out when seated, and this added more storage too, sliding Galley moved aft,port side, and table which was centered is now folded from starboard wall. You can see it on Macgregor's website. The exterior is pretty much the same, but you might see if the costs are. Happy sailing, you love it.

2005 vs 2004

Fred,There is quite a bit of opinion on this subject. All of the changes are in the interior, which means that either boat sails and motors as well as the other. The best way to sort this out is to ask the admiral to step aboard. You will know within 5 minutes which one to buy. If you prefer the '04 you need to get going as they are no longer being made.
