I am considering getting a Lewmar folding wheel for my 2004 33' Hunter. Does anybody have an idea as to the size I should order? I'd go measure but it's a bit of a hike back and forth to the boat. I tried calling Hunter tech support but they are closed from 12/18 through 1/2.

Alan, I was thinking of a pedestal cover with the
wheel left exposed. It would be cheaper and quicker to put on. Any thoughts?

Mike, I happen to have my wheel home to put a leather wrap on. It is 32 inches in diameter. When I got my 33 last spring, I thought about the folding wheel - they had just been released. There were issues of size and placement of the autopilot ring. The autopilot issue has been resolved. Hunter recommends the 32" over the 36" because when open, the 36" blocks both the port locker and the starboard hatch from opening. Happy Holidays, Barry Newland Bear Necessity
