We have passed the big 2000 mile mark, from Petoskey Mich. to Isle of Palms S.C. It is getting cold here at night and we are still making our way south, slooooowlly but surely!!

Hey your pic’s from NC are Ocean Isle Beach and my wife and I have our little getaway home there we’ll be heading that way in 12 days time I’m really getting Psyched we’ll hang out for a few days and then on to Fl. How far down are you going? We should be in North Palm Beach to see my folks for Christmas. We would Like to meet a couple of intrepid travelers like yourselves. My little sis and brother in law have a house on the south side of the Blue Heron bridge right across from the Palm Beach Inlet If you need any thing Let us know.

Good luck with your trip and we all wish we could make a trip like you guys,in 2008 I sailed my H-36 from NY down to east coast of Florida but it was all off shore with one night in NC and than offshore again to east coast Florida and than down around the keys over to Punta Gorda but I did not get really stop and smell the flowers,I hope to some day go back and take my time and see the sights.
The weather is going to be even colder all next week here in Florida so be prepared to keep warm and Good Luck.

Glad to see you are south

We are in Vero Beach until Tues or Wed. Waiting on new credit cards. Front is coming through in a couple hours. We stop across the river from McClellanville we went across to Townhouse creek and spent the night there. Books were not clear on depths up at town...
