Hollywood is tough that way. I have a soft spot for performance mustangs 65-66. I cant imagine how many of these vehicles have been destroyed in movies. They gather up multiple vehicles of the same year and model to represent one vehicle in a movie. Then as they destroy one due to bad takes or trying to fool the public into thinking you can jump cars 150ft and keep on going they just paint another and send it out on the set. Do to what is lost on the big screen many of these cars are not really all that nice but certainly could be restored if not WASTED by Hollywood. I guess movies like Bullet would be a little less exciting if filmed with an AMC Rambler. With all of todays computer gen. grafics it would be nice if they would lay off the classics.... And these poor sailboats as well.

Agree with that, see so many nice cars destroyed in movies it almost makes you cry!
A buddy would never watch Dukes of hazard because he hated seeing the general get banged up so much. (he's had his 70 charger for way over 20 years)
I've always been a fan of ford muscle cars, and cringe whenever I see them used in a movie.
One good thing about hollywood is that they tend to reuse the cars, some large crash scenes have previously wrecked cars from other movies in them
The best thing is that for most boat crashes, they use stinkpotters!
