My fuel pump is leaking. How hard is it to replace? Is there a rebuild kit out there.?

Junior, This is an easy repair. Replace the complete pump as an assembly. It will be available from your local dealer for around $65-70. Pat McCartin Inland Marine Diesel Buford, GA

yes, easy but

On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2 for ease, but a 4 or 5 for potential for messing it up. Be careful not to crossthread those rigid fuel lines. We learned to assemble the whole rig and then bolt it onto the block. If you are using the old copper seals, anneal them first or buy new ones; they do not always re-bed snuggly. Take care, Joe

And don't over tighten those banjo fittings

to stop leaks because you forgot to anneal the washers. Break a bolt head off and there is no work-around.
