Good Evening folks,
This is my first thread on this forum. I just acquired a 1984 H34 today :)
My question has probably been asked a thousand times. Is there a reliable site that I can simply enter the make, model, and year of my boat and POOF - I can have cushions sent to me?

Cheers,
Chris

Maybe not quite that easy

You and I are in the same boat (literally) Check upholstery shops, etc but it is not cheap. I went to Sailrite to get the material and I am doing it myself (wife is helping). Otherwise it's around $4k. If you are handy check out Sailrite. They have really good tutorial videos. Everything you need to know.

Welcome

If you think there might be a previous post, do a search of the archives. They are excellent and you will find a wealth of information.
You might have to use some variations of search terms to get the full view but it is user friendly.

Not sure where you are located, but I had my salon and stern berth cushions recovered last year. I believe it was a sunbrella fabric, with one new foam piece and it ran me about $1,500. Also it was a good job as the fit was very good. The name is Custom Transformations, Inc. out of Allenton, Wi. Eric does a lot of boats and is very reasonable. I have no connection, I just want to promote someone doing a good job and not ripping sailors off. He also has a small office in the Hanson Marina in Milwaukee, Wi. Good luck.

I recognize that sound!!!
It is the wing- flapping racket that 100 dollar bills make as they fly out of your wallet away from you at 600 miles per hour into someone else's account.

I believe you can do that here but you must use the full web site not the ipad/device version.

H-34 Cushions

Welcome aboard, Chris!
Last year I replaced the cushions in the main cabin. I used US Yacht Cushions and was pleased with the work. They can work with you on which materials etc.. I bought Ultra-suede after doing some research and they built the new foam cushions using my material. They have a pattern for the original 34 upholstery.. I would make one modification to their pattern.. I would break the port side lower into two parts to allow easier access to the locker where the water pump and tank selector valve is.. Attached is old blue velvety cushions versus new tan Ultrasuede. The old cushion backs were vinyl, the new ones are poly mesh for breathability.

EDIT: Don't know if they'll conveniently ship to Canada..

Not sure what kind of budget you have. I watched videos on Sailrite and YouTube and learned to sew. My saloon is done waiting on two memory foam mattress's I purchase from eBay to finish my berths. I should have around $600 invested including buying a used sewing machine off from Craigslist. But I had the foam for the saloon. Foam is not cheap!!
