I am preparing to install a windlass on my 340. I'm looking for a wiring diagram that includes the wire chases I can utilize. Hope someone can assist.

At the top of this page click on Boat Info, then find the link to the 340. This will take you to all kinds of info including a Downloads section with a full owner's manual PDF, not sure of year but I believe is a 98.

I don't have a windlass and don't have any other info on wire routing and chases for the windlass, but maybe someone else does.

I have the 2000 340 and I have attached the wiring diagram for the factory installed anchor windlass. I also provided the diagram of the factory wire chase locations. To be truthful, these wire chases are pretty useless and you have to tear the boat apart to get to them and even though the factory left messenger chords in the wire chases they are very difficult to use. Last year I had to recplace my spreed transducer and it was just easier to splice the new cable onto the old and still working wire to the digital display head, Good luck

John, I saw that too but that diagram didn't show a chase for the big cables up to the bow for the windlass power.

I would have to look on my boat but I'll bet that the power cables for the anchor windless run from the AC/DC panel, along the starboard side of the hull just inside/under the edge of the rigid cabin head liner near the hull-deck joint. You can reach up in there and touch a few wires - check it out with a mirror. Alternately they could run just under the top of the starboard settee seat, then through the hanging closet in the V-berth and up to the anchor locker.
