1996 37.5 hunter salon table

We purchased our boat, but the rope is missing from lowering the table. We are able to push it down for a bed, but is rather difficult. I searched all over to see if there is a way to the line. I really dont want to unstep the mast if possible.
Any info would help thanks.

Sorry, but the only way in is to raise the mast. As a side, I have owned my 37.5 for 20 plus years and never had need to use the saloon table as e berth

We can at least still push it down, we have greased it pretty good. We have 7 people going on a month long cruise through the San Juan's and Canada, so we need the sleeping space. Thanks for the response.

We have a 1996 410 and we can't get the table to go up or dowm? I have loosen the T handle and we just sprade with some lob to get it to move. Any one have some better ideas to move it?
