1992 Hunter 28 Verus 1992 28 Catalina

Has anyone gone though what I am going though right now? I found two very clean boats, one a Hunter and the other the Catliana. They have about the same equipment, other then the Catalina comes with a microwave,propane stove & three blade prop. The specs. on the two boats are different, but I really don't know which way to go. The Catalina is about $4000.00 more then the Hunter, is it worth it? Thanks for comments.

Well guys

The Catalina guys tell me go with the Catalina and not the Hunter. The Hunter guys say nothing, so It looks like I am going with a Catalina.

Sure -- its our fault

Heh -- Nobody seems to wanna take responsibility for their own decisions these days...Depending on others' opinions in this area is pure folly.You will love whichever boat you get Im sure. Its not my decision, as a very satisfisfied hunter owner -- Its yours. There are merits both ways, so quit blaming your indeciseiveness on Hunter owners.This reminds me of the computer wars -- Commodore Atari Apple ... Go forth and just do it !And happy sailing !!

Go with the Catalina, I want the Hunter

I found a very clean 92 Hunter 28 in South Haven. The owner is traveling and won't/can't respond to my offer. I'll bet we're talking about the same boat. Good luck...
