Good day.
I am preparing for the next sailing season but I would like to see the general rigging diagram for my boat. I know we can do it to our liking but I would like to see what is suggested/recommended for my boat. Does any one has a rigging diagram for all for a 1991 Hunetr 23? ( running rigging: halyards and sheets).
Thank you and have a nice day

I just googled Hunter 23 rigging and searched images and didn't find much. You may have to try to find the best photos you can and go from there....

Or maybe a fellow H23 owner could help?

Did you try the Smaller Boats Forum at HunterOwners.com? There is a link at the bottom of this page. Good luck with the H23. It's a great boat (had one for about ten years).

As suggested, go to the small boat Hunterowners.com and look up under boat information. Pick the 23 and from there you will see alot. At the bottom is a link for the owner's manual. If this does not help, get back in touch on the www.hunterowners.com website under small boats and there you will glean alot of good information from other Hunter 23 owners and you can also email me sir as I was the top dealer for the Hunter 23 sailboat.

I really appreciate Phil Herring and his staff for the new uploads along with a thank you to Jim Seamons as well.

The rigging on these boats is pretty simple.. what exactly are you having problems with? Hardest part is probably the boom rigging, which is shown in the attached diagram (from the manual):

Attatchment to mast head

Thanks MrUnix I can see pretty much of what I need with the boom. it is attatching the fore and aft lines to mast head. I will post a pic I have put a red arrow toward an opening in mast what goes in there
thanks

Thank you all for the info, I did not find what I was looking for. So I will install the running rigging as I find fit for my use. B ut I now know a little more about the hunterowners.com.

Have a great day

Nothing.. but it's a great place to route coax for your VHF antenna or any other wiring that might be hanging off the side of the mast! The same mast head extrusion (K-10934) can be purchased with either one or two sheaves, and the second sheave would go where your arrow points. The H23 doesn't need the forward sheave, so it's just left open.

Cheers,
Brad
