What is recommended for the treatment of the hull below the water line? I have removed the keel, had it sandblasted and shot with an epoxy primer. But I am tempted to give the hull a coat of Interprotect 2000. but is this going overboard?

Bottom Paint
Hello Bugs, When I bought my boat, I had no idea that hiding unde the bottom paint were several hundred pea sized blisters. Luckly I had the time and facility to take care of them. Ground them out with dremel, filled with "Watertite" then applied nine coats of 2000e. Three coats per gallon. Glad I did as boat stays in the water 24/7. After three years in water, not a sign of any recurrance. I found the Interlux products easy to use and am pleased with the results. Other opinions may differ. ljp

Blister's
IF ther are not any blister problem's and if it lives allot of it's life on a trailer painting it with VC 17 will be good. Doing the 2000 might be an over kill and a waste of $$$ Wolf Pack

Update on the Bottom
The hull is in good shape with the exception of where it rubbed against the dock in a couple of places. There are no blisters, and there appears to be a primer epoxy on the bottom from the factory. Once the scrapes on the bottom are repaired, I will put Interprotect 2000 and VC 17 on the hull for protection.
