1989 Electrolux stove oven help

In our, new to us, 1989 Beneteau First 35s5 we have an Electrolux 3 burner stove and oven. The boat was raced mostly and the galley was very lightly used in the last 30 years. We renewed the LPG valve and stove top and oven valve. The three burners on top work 100%. The gas valve pushes in and turns freely, but I can't get the oven to light. I found some instructions onboard, but they are in French and I'm a NorCal redneck. There were some translations on the last page, but incomprehensible. Does anyone know how to light the oven or can offer some troubleshooting ideas? I can add that when I took the stuck oven valve apart, cleaned, lubed and freed it up, there were two options of putting the stem back in 180 degrees apart. That might make a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Ordered a new stove. Force 10 F63353. I wish I could get back all that time I spent shining that turd.

Sounds like he solved it but for others: while pushing in the oven knob hold a lighter to the pilot nozzle. After 30 seconds or so release the knob. The pilot should stay lit. If not try again. If it still doesn't stay lit the thermocouple might be bad. That's what mine is now doing. Don't know if I can even get to it to replace.

On my Force 10, there is a sensing device also in the stove-front control knob.
