Thinking of buying a hunter but getting alot of bad vibes from people. Some say there not built well and they don't preform well, Any coments will be helpful
The 29.5 was made 1994-1997 and replaced by the 290. From the age of the boat you are looking at maybe its a Hunter 30. Look at the pictures in the Boat Specs and find out what we are really talking about

Hunter didn't make a 29' in '88. We have an 88 28.5 that sails like a dream. Had her for 10 years now. Sailed all over Lake Michigan in her. She is very fast.
