Without hauling my Hunter ("Gemini") to make an accurate assessment of what's what concerning her steering system, it appears to me that somehow the top rudder bearing has broken and probably has slid down the ruddershaft, leaving us to endure sailtips of pleasure and aggrivation -- especially on reaches. I've looked on the net till my eyes have bled, even contacting Hunter Marine trying to find a mechanical drawing with shaft o.d. measurments and the i.d. of the collar, and any other technical information, so I can avoid ruining her paint by having her out of the water too long. (To no avail.) Has anybody out there experienced the same problem with their steering system or does anyone have a remedy? By the way...it's too cold to dive. Thanks,Wes FowlerSeabrook, Texas
