I'm trying to figure out what kind of sheets to purchase as bedding for the forward v-berth on my 1988 Catalina 30. Can anyone recommend the best size to use? Are there sheets made just for v-berths? If so, where would I find them?

V Berth Sheets

I've seen v-berth sheets at our local West Marine. They have a drawstring to help them fit snugger. I haven't bought them yet, they're a little pricey, and I'd luv to here anyone comments on them.

Make your own

I've seen those special v-berth sheets. OUCH! Why not just make them? I'm sure if you searched hard enough you could probably find some instructions on the internet but esentially, measure your v-berth & fit your sheets to that measurement. You could sew them with elastic in the corners or a drawstring. Just make sure your top sheet gives you enough room to move around. LaDonna

V berth sheets

I live on my 89 C-30. I use a regular queen fitted sheet on the bottom, it tucks in ok on the starboard side and most of the way on the port side. And then a regular queen flat sheet on top. I tuck that under most of the port side (my preference). Seems to work ok. A lot cheaper than sheets from WM. George
