1986 Hunter 23 mainsheet

Hello all!
Unfortunately, the mainsheet on my hunter 23 has… seen better days… and I’m looking to replace it. The calculator on this forum doesn’t seem to give me a mainsheet option, so I need to know exactly what I should be looking for (width, minimum length, type of line, etc.). Thanks in advance for your help!

There is a rule of thumb.
Line length = (Boom length × Purchase ratio) + tail (~6 feet)
It depends on several factors.

1. What type of block system you are using
2. Size depends of feel and width of your block sheaves

Some owners find 35–38 feet works well with a 3:1 or 4:1 setup.
