My friends assure me that I can install a lifting strap on the keel bolts to lift the boat in and out of the water. Does anyone have any instructions on keel bolts such as this? I recently moved from Wisconsin to Florida with my fresh water boat and really don't want to let is sit in the salt water for a long amount of time. Thanks so very much and Happy Holidays. Sure, It Would Be Easy

The only problem is if it is a 23.5 it is without a keel and therefore has no keel bolts. I think a 23.5 is quicker and easier to get in and out of the water with a trailer on a ramp than using a hoist anyway. When I was in Hawaii we hoisted Rhodes 19's and Cal 20's daily it was a very simple operation once everything was set up.
