While in Las Vegas I met an artist who was just fantastic. She told me she could paint my boat on canvas if she had a picture, I don't have one. Can anyone help?

I was hoping for maybe a sunset pic, sailig pic or line drawing, something that would look great hanging in my living room. I am going to spend a couple hundred dollars and would like to make this a real showpiece.

Professional photo

Funny to run into this message. My wife and I were discussing how we can combine our love for sailing with my profession. I'm a commercial photographer near Harrisburg, PA (no weddings please!) and we were talking about photographing other boats with our high end digital cameras and then making large prints. Weather dependent, of course, and nothing like a painting. Although I can do some incredible "tricks" with the image software I use. But then we don't want to work on the "bay" we want to play. Kind of defeats the whole reason for having a boat to get away from it all. Maybe when I retire. :) Bob

Pics of H 31

Darren: Post your e-mail address and I'll send you several shots of the H'31 in various scenic settings. The topography of the North Channel used in the pictures will even look like the coast of Maine, etc. Also, tell me you if you prefer .jpg or .bmp formats. -Regards, Michael O'

Take it from here.

Take the photo right off of HOW and print it on a good color printer. If you don't have the printer put the .jpg file on a diskette and take it to Kinko. The attached photo is in the HOW "Boats" section. Right click the mouse on the picture you want and save it to your personal file. Then you can do whatever you want with it. "YachtWorld", under "Boats for Sale" is another source of many H31 pictures.
