Do any of the H25 Cherubini owners have the proper dimensions for the H25 sails?

Upon inspecting my sails more closely today, I discovered what I thought was a 125% foresail appears to have been a former Mainsail that was modified...

Both of these sails were made by Vector Sails. I have no idea if they are original to the boat or not, but there are no markings identifying them as H25 sails by way of logo or sail/hull number.

I could not make out the dimensions on the Hunter Brochure pdf and was hoping someone could assist.

I have no roller furling, just hank on.

Many thanks...

Thanks Rardi and to Ed....

I was able to spend more time navigating the website and found the Specifications page for the H25 from a 1981 brochure and it has the mainsail specifications identified.

I will also take your advice, Ed and measure myself ...

I would love to find some info on the foresail cut and sizing recommendations and if I cannot find it over the weekend, I will call Hunter Marine on Monday. They must be archived somewhere....

JB:

If buying new sails, or looking for one 2nd-hand, one aspect to keep in mind is the leech length for the mainsail. From the pictures of your boat that you included a few weeks ago with your first posting, it looks like the boom is situated quite high relative to the cockpit, and the boom end is forward of the helm.

So maybe the following might not be an issue for you; But if the leech distance is longer (relative to the luff length) than normal, the boom can be oriented low down, which can make it head height when standing in the cockpit. The mainsail that came with my boat has this condition and the boom height is right at my eyebrow level when I'm standing in the cockpit. A second-hand sail that I subsequently bought has a shorter leech ratio and with it, the boom level is just above my head height. I figure I've only sacrificed about 10 ft2 (if that) of sail area for the difference. But I a feel a lot safer knowing that if I or a passenger is standing in the forward part of the cockpit and the boom swings across, the top of our heads won't be taken out by the boom. Just another thing to consider with sail dimensions.

H25 sail dimensions (not rig dimensions), for the '25' not '25.5':

Main-- luff, 24.8; leech, 25.8; foot 8.0; weight 5 or 5.5 oz
110 jib -- luff, 27.16; leech, 24.58; foot 12.82; weight 5.5 oz.

I have those for storm and light-weather sails as well; or you can find this info available on the excellent Sail Warehouse web site-- just search for your boat.
