I have a 1984 Beneteau First 35. I want to add a propane locker. Is there anyone who can advise where to put it? I am really lost. The regulations seem to state that the locker must have a lid that opens to the outside air and must have a vent on the bottom that goes outside the boat. This seems really tough to find an acceptable location.

The locker does NOT need to open to outside air, it just needs a sealed box with an outside vent. Like this.

Where would be a good place to install this on a boat like mine. I know that is a tough request without pictures of my boat etc. I'm hoping to get some ideas where the locker might be installed on my boat.
Here is a photo of the top of my boat. The lids for the lazarette can be seen at the back. Where would a propane locker be placed?

I know your boat pretty well. I'm guessing the sail locker on the port side of the transom. Your boat was one if the first (if not THE) to have dual staterooms aft. Will make running the propane line forward to the galley slightly tricky.
