Any 31 owners changed a throttle cable recently? Changed mine end of last season (pain in the a**!!). Can't seem to get it adjusted properly. Idles too high and won't stay in place at running RPM. Any help appreciated.
There should be a screw on the forward side of pedestal. That screw is attached to a clamp on the inside of the pedestal tube. You cable housing should be attached inside of the clamp and the screw should be tightened to prevent the cable housing from moving.
Not sure that is the problem, but it a place to start.
