1983 34 hunter diesel Tank

I cannot find a replacement tank for diesel plastic stock tank. Further seems like you have to take aft cabin side panels out to remove it as well. Anyone with experience on finding a mfgrd tank. last resort to fabricate allum. tank. and install guage. thanks, Dana shel6443(at sign)bellsouth.net

Dana, why do you have to replace your tank?

It's plastic. Should last forever. A sending unit is an easy install and taking it out can be done via the galley panel over the refer. To hold down the tank again, just use ratchet straps. Don't forget to install a cleanout port. That's the most important part of the job. Good luck
