1982 Oday 25 bilge pump and bilge blower

My wife and I purchased a 1982 Oday 25 that was the pride and joy a man who sailed her in the Apostle islands before he past more than a decade ago. The family took care of her for the first five years but not the second. As far as I can tell, so far with the winter here in Iowa the bilge pump and blower need to to be change. Any suggestions from other Oday owners? They current ones are a rule 1000 bilge pump and a Attwood blower. Do I stay with them, or change?

Unfortunately, the Rule pumps nowadays are not what they used to be. I switched to an Atwood pump last season. Much better.

Any special reason for the blower .

The blower has stopped working just as the bilge pump

I have a 1977 25 and I put one of these in the bilge. Seems to work great.

Any special reason for the blower .

I assume that this 1982 25 has the optional 15 HP OMC "Zephyr" saildrive, and like all gas inboards, it would require a bilge blower to meet USCG requirements. Diesel inboards do not require a blower, nor do outboards.
