What was the model number of the Yanmar Diesel engine install in the 1981 Hunter 36? What was the usual gear ratio for the transmission and shaft RPM? I'm looking for a new prop.
There should be information plates on both engine and transmission. The gear ratio is shown on the transmision info plate. Sometimes these plates are obscured by paint or grime or ????
