Make sure is not taking in water. Where have you located your batteries? Get at least three people on the cockpit and if it still bow heavy redistribute the weight of movable items back astern.

Check forward compartment under the v berth. It may be full of water. It does not drain into the bilge and isn't supposed to.

Mine doesnt sit low at the bow or anything. Are you sure that it really is, and not that your boot stripe isnt off? I know that there is a bilge access area forward under the forward birth. I have never checked to see that it actuall drains into the bilge though.

Never had a problem with that unless my 6'3" son is standing on the bow with just me in the back.
What all do you have stored in the V berth? Maybe move some stuff to the stearn?

Yes, there is a bilge area forward under the V-birth, and it does not drain into the main bilge in my H22 as well, but its capacity is only about 20 gallons worth. Still, it's about the only place forward far enough from the center of bouyancy that could cause a large imbalance. Check it out.

just checked on the boat after 24 hours and boat is bone dry, surprising since i replaced the keel pin and bushing myself.
the previous owner lowered the motor mount evidenced by the poorly repaired mount holes, and still on lowest setting my long shaft rude does not submerse cavitation plate.
i carry no weight in bow,and battery is in battery storage area forward of water tank.

Is the motor mount adjustable? Mine is so you can pull motor out of the water when sailing. The PO may have replaced the original mount.

Yes, I can see from the photos what you mean and that is not normal. Check and see if ballast was added, shifted or removed from the boat. Is the keel ballasted? Is it whole and properly positioned. If everything checks out you may try shifting any items or components that are movable behind the center of gravity. As a last measure you could add some ballast astern.

Without your freeboard measurements fore and aft to compare against my trim (or anybody else's H22), I'd say from the pix that you are light all the way around...or that your boat stripe is high... any way you look at it, IF your adjustment is full down on your motor mount, and you still haven't submerged the cavitation plate,

..then it sounds like a longer shaft is in store OR start loading gear and fill the water tank.

ballast looks like concrete to me,or maybe is encapsulated lead,i have no way of knowing. can anyone share some pictures of what the ballast looks liker under the floorboards of their h22

i suppose only way to find out if all is well is to sail her,but weather forecast is poor..

was thinking of sandbags in stern area if i need them plenty of room in there forward of cockpit drain lines.

I would try and see if there is any thing up in the front area that was added. My 22 never sat that way even with the two of us sleeping in the Vberth. I believe the ballast under the floor boards is encapsulated lead. Your aft end is waay too high.

i checked under v-berth is there another area i am not aware of like under portapottie? is there anywhere that water can collect that does not make it to bilge area near keelbolts?
Can someone give me measurements from rubrail to waterline? different locations?

To balance a boat with no crew aboard may not yield desired results. For that reason I suggest that you get three persons on the cockpit or 550 lbs and then see how she sits. The end of the transom seems to be about 7" above the water and with crew on board it should be level or 1" under. If you add any ballast at the stern make sure it is adequately strapped in place as a shifting ballast can be dangerous.
