This is an interesting question, since there seems to be 0 consensus. When I replaced the transducer on my H36 the hull seemed to be solid glass, however other people swear blind it's cored with close-cell foam!

I am wondering if it may have varied from hull to hull? Mine is #65, can other owners weigh in here?

Alctel:

Mine (hull#36) is definitely solid frp throughout. The only cored spots on the boat are the deck and cabin top/sides and cockpit sole around the pedestal.

I don't know what's in the keel stub however. Although because in my bilge I have no signs of compression around the keel bolt washers/nuts, and no water leakage through them, I would expect also solid frp without plywood (as I have read some manufacturers have used). It seems also that I have seen a diagram of the keel stub layout by Hunter somewhere. Can't find it now, but from memory they inserted SS plate into the keel stub.

Don't listen to the people that say it's cored. My 79 H30 hull is solid fiberglass at least 1/2" thick with a cored deck. I would assume all Cherubini's are the same.
