Dear Fellow Hunter Skippers: It is with great pride that I recently purchased a classic cruising ship, a 1980 model 27 Hunter. The previous owner replaced the original inboard diesel with a new Yarimar 18 horse, and it is just finishing the break-in period. My problem is finding a technical manual for this fine vessel. My mechanic (and good friend) needs to have the specs on various things, before doing restoration work. If anyone knows where a copy is available, please let me know. I'd love to restore this old girl to some of her previous glory. Thanks for heeding this SOS, I wish you all fair weather with moderate beam winds. Tom PS: E-mail is psych911@aol.com

Another Cherubini owner!

Welcome aboard. Be sure to do "Forum Archive" searches for H27 information. There are lots of postings including several about manuals, see Related Link. There used to be an online version but it has disappeared. Also be sure to visit the "Cherubini Forum" and the "Photo Forum". Congrats on your "new" H27. With a new Yanmar? You lucky guy.

Manual, not technical

I have the original hunter manual for the 1980 H27. I'll scan it and email it to you this week. It really has very little useful info that is not availale on this site under specifications. However it is nice having the manual for posterity. Enjoy the H27, wish I had your engine. whrenninger3@comcast.net

$$$ 4 Yarimar

The previous owner paid over $5,000.00 for the engine and installation at a local shop. Glad he did it, it runs like a pup!
