David, thanks so much for the quick response. Encouragement is needed every day in tackling a job like this. I have rebuilt the back 10 feet of the Constance Marie keeping the original Westerbeke 102. She ran great last year. New carbon muffler, hoses, and repaired the quadrants for the pedestal steering. Believe it or not I have carefully sanded almost all the teak down to its original patina. Figure a satin polyurethane. I want it clear to enjoy the natural deviations in the color. I have read the first 479 Cherubini Owner postings and pulled the gems from there applicable to a H27. I re-created all the AC DC and plumbing schematics in Powerpoint using the original H27 documentation. Even found the exact original circuit breakers in new condition on the original electrical panel from 1980. Turn this effort into a passion and the gates of hell will not impede you.
