Does anyone know what kind of hull core this has. I have a few gelcoat cracks and am trying to find out if he has wood between the fiberglass

The deck is Balsa except under the mast step, that is plywood. The rest of the hull is all glass.

Our '83 O'Day-30 had a solid FRP laminate hull with a plywood and balsa core in the deck. I don't recall ever hearing anything different about the earlier/shorter models.

Lots of boats have gel coat cracks and they are almost always not a problem. Can't say for sure about yours.
